ANOTHER WINE DEAL COLLAPSES

The takeover of Château Montelena by the owners of Cos d'Estournel is on the verge of collapse due to the current banking crisis. It appears that Reybier Investments, the vehicle Cos d'Estournel owner Michel Reybier was using for the purchase, has been unable to secure funding for the deal.
