FRENCH PROPOSE BAN ON FREE WINE TASTING

Public Health activists in France have proposed a ban on wine tasting as part of a tightening of the Evin Law to curb promotion of alcohol consumption. The ban will operate against wine festivals and retail tastings, as well as cellar door operations, but has as yet not been approved by the French government.
